Koula will have an 8th floor amenity deck and be over an acre full of amenities. The proposed amenities Koula will have are:
On the ground floor of Koula, the entire first floor will be retail space and will include retail shops, coffee shop, and restaurants. There will also be a designated Ward Village ride share pickup area which will be a round about area for Uber and Lift.
Exterior Architectural Design
Koula will be designed by Studio Gang. Jeanne Gang, the architect, focuses on structural architecture and has incorporated the structural columns to be on the exterior of the building. You can think of it as an exoskeleton. By incorporating this, the individual units will not be burdened with having a column inside their home. Therefore a 650 sq ft home may function and feel like a 700 sq ft home. The columns also give Koula it's signature characteristic. Koula in hawaiian means "red sugarcane" and the columns will somewhat give off a similar look.

Interior Unit Renderings
The interior of the units will be furnished by Yabu Pushelberg who will focus natural materials, colors, and textures. All units will also feature a "complete housing/turn key" package similar to Aalii where the units will come fully furnished making it move in ready. This allows buyers the ability to simply move in with a suitcase full of clothes and their toothbrush and not have to hassle with finding furniture or bother with moving. Should the prospective buyer not need/want the items, they can buy the homes at a reduced price.
